Edges of Disaster

I danced on the edges of disaster Knowing the stars were raining down While the earth was spinning faster, I danced on the edges of disaster Without a thought for who was master, Or who wore the chiffon wedding gown I danced on the edges of disaster Knowing the stars were raining down.

"danced on the edge of disaster" - this is so wonderfully honest and fun to read about! I am sorry it did not work out, but things happen for a reason, not always our reasons.

I believe that's true. After all, if my first marriage had not gone down the tubes, I never would have met Deb! Think about that!

May you catch their light as they rain down on you, and be filled with hope Milton, a wish granted is a wish well formed, be brave !

Thanks, Mystic. That marriage was over fifty years ago, so it's all in the past and we both moved forward with our lives. Thanks for your thoughtful, kind comment.

Now this can be extrapolated to many things which we never have thought before would end up in disaster. A great write!!

Thanks so much, Marco. It seemed that day when we were married all of these things were happening. Little did we know we were dancing on the edges of disaster.
