Eden

Forbidden love – Sinful at best, catastrophic no less. From here nature flourishes, Yet ironclad bricks strangle And tumultuous rivers engulf. Longing past faded, Withered roots of roses long dehydrated. Scars of passion sear Every morsel of the soul – Unrelenting, deadly, painless. Emotions of ages past, Paralyzed and fearless. A caress, a whisper – A fleeting glance lost, Gone and inconsequential. The churning of hearts As they weld and mold as one – A kiss forever sealed by life.
