Echoes, reminiscing within my tortured soul Reverberating deep within me, achieving their goals All my life’s emotions I have ever known scattered My life long dreams now shattered Broken by the echoes The echoes of your broken dreams Your broken dreams Broken dreams The depth of your pain in my heart retained, retained Your broken dreams Broken dreams I should have known better On how to deflect my rejection of you So in the remnants of hollow rooms I walk now Hands to my ears to stop the noise somehow Of the echoes of your broken dreams Your broken dreams Broken dreams
