Echoes of Deception
Now, I fall in love with every other guy i see,
What about my vaguely hollow plea?
You never cared, you never will,
You never see what's down the hill.
Who cares, right?
As star crossed lovers, we weren't even that bright.
There's an end to the tunnel, but no light.
Feverish flames in eyes of thine defined
'Forever' that you could never be mine
And I was the ridicule fool who fell in love being blind.
Should I curse the frantic fate's frivolous waves
Or my heart's nectarous naivety
For falling fast as rain in your ocean?
Lingers long that lonely question,
Who should answer for my deep devotion?
There's you,
Then there's I,
Let's just both lie,
Let's just close our gates
And throw it all on fate.
