My first thought was the serpent eating it's own tail perpetually. "Self consuming" and "Sating myself again". Am I reading too much into this? And yet the title suggests someone else. Their heart. I find myself mesmerized but these lines Maureen. Perhaps I've over thought it or I got it, but that is what is wonderful about this poem.
