Easter Blessings
Thanks to the Lord, Jesus, our Mighty King
With praise on Easter our hearts will sing
We will bow our heads in supplication
For life, love and beauty in all creation
He is our Savior, born humbly in a stall
Then suffered and died for the sins of us all
My eyes fill with tears when I think of His pain
The humiliation and torment He had to sustain
He is prophesy fulfilled, the Lamb of sacrifice
With love and mercy, He paid the ultimate price
Jesus shed His blood on the cross for this reason
Remember His love always not just Easter season
The Lamb of God has taken away the world's sin
He lives now, forever and has always been
Blessed are we who believe in Him and give
our hearts completely, so eternally we may live
On Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord
Filled with the Holy Spirit, in Him we are restored
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." - John 11:25 (NIV Bible)
