Earth, Fire and Melted Stone

Earth, Fire And Melted Stone Before this earth's life ever came to be space held earth, fire, red-hot melting stone. Only later came the covering seas. Still, with no growing life earth was alone. After man appeared, great changes were brought destruction began on a massive scale. Now we can see the trap which we are caught it damn sure looks like a dark piece of hell. Could man ever find truth and thus refrain? Will man's greed then truly be satisfied? Always his power mad lusts this earth stain in his black heart thinks he is deified. Earth, fire, melted stone can not withstand much more destroying this beautiful land. Robert J. Lindley, 4-27-2016 Sonnet on Destruction of too much of our forests, rivers, lakes and streams. We must use those treasures wisely and not destroy that which it took many, many thousands of years for Nature to create. It is so sad that we are unable to realize that we are slowly destroying our own lives by destroying nature. Thank you for bringing this truth to light in this lovely sonnet, dear. Be blessed.
