Wisdom dances from the edges Of my amber, gilded feathers Strength echoes through fluffs Of warmly caressing breaths Pouring forth from my tones Trust, truth and tendencies Toward a destiny of insight Visions of all that is mystery Whispering through the mist Across peaks and ridges Gentle embrace of sweet peace No one knows how I yearn For a single blessed touch From someone who truly loves With their heart and soul All that lives within their thoughts Echoes of sensitivity and hope Melancholy dreams of delighted Serenity soothing my faith Freeing me to dance in the winds Of sorrow or the gales of gladness Reaching toward infinity’s inspiration With a courage that is filled with Assurance and faith in tomorrow I grasp the sky’s azure cloudless Fantasy, intimately touching the Phrases found within the spotless Clarity of something so true and right Beauty that can only be found Where there is freedom to accept All that God brings to our minds The silent truth that reverberates Through my spirit, graceful and true I am the Eagle, wings spread in Reflective intuition, longing for the Beauty of the majestic intimacy Found with a touch of God’s brush Painting hues of love, light and laughter Along my silhouette and across my breast I am a bird personification poetry contest, Sponsored by: Tania Kitchin July 24, 2020

What a powerfully crafted poetic opus! It so easily reminds me of the imagericallly sweet diction used in Proverbs 3, 8, and 9... guess you actually gleaned much of your inspirations from these Scripture sources?

Your personification i brilliant.. Did you know an eagle flies towards the storm and above, rather than away from it.... Great bird.
