Eagla an chaillteanais-The fear of loss

We were so close I could hear your breath I watched you stare so silently I looked around and there were others there Those whose faces I couldn’t see; We were encased in a shrouded emotion An eerie calm I couldn't move My fear begins to rise; You left me there soon after Seated in distress and forlorn What a feeling i scorned I look down and i see you Contained, withheld, locked in a rising darkness A piece of my heart fell But I couldn't For the life of me I couldn't reach you; What the actual heck? By now my dew began to form Rising and raging and burning my eyes A burning ugly emotion this yearning i felt I couldn't for the life of me reach you; I tried again and again While your darkness crept closer Running up the length of your legs I called out to you and you offered me no reproach Nor did you offer any aid You merely stood indifferent to my pleas; At this point i'm no longer calling I'm begging Please Take my hand Please Say something My dear I'm scared Please look something I care My pleading unheeded My arm outstretched The darkness advancing Has covered your head; Now all that's left is a glint A sparkle of your hair My dear I look to the others Their faces contorted in an eerie smile I beg them for help Please please please Help me Please please please Care Where is your fear? For I am losing my dear; Your glint is gone The last spec of you Sordid laughter fills the air My arms are drenched in sweat and tears Why were they laughing? What humor did my plight bring? My ugly feeling now turned deadly I retort with a roar a sound of my own voice To drown out their blatant hubris and demand contrition Contrition I didn’t even think i deserved Somewhere in my rage i awaken My tears spilling from the land of dreams to reality I calm myself You weren't gone My dear;
