Line of inquiry: “the essence in us is the same as the essence of the sun”
“Tat Tvam Asi” — “Thou art that.” - Hindu thought; "I am that I am" - Exodus 3:14,
“Never did eye see the sun unless it had first become sunlike.” - Plotinus
“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. The within of things in not a passive bystander, but a luminous participant” - paraphrased concepts from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
“We are made of star-stuff.” - Carl Sagan

Listen to poem:
Within lies a twinkle
a candle quivering
as we yearn for connection
to the source of the
radiance pulsing within our core
from our dash
of universal within-ness
glowing deep in the
heart of each of us,
and every single being,
and thing under the sun.
A spiritual stem cell
within a seed,
within a tree,
within a forest,
within a land,
within a world,
bathed and sustained by light,
shining within this universe,
which beckons a sea of star-like
kin of eyes to awaken
and yen to see.
