Dusty Memories

"The imaginary musings of my mind . . . " inspired by this quote of Brian Strand's from his poem, Streams of Consciousness, 2010. _______________________ I keep my memories locked inside me, filed away in corridors of my mind; with hopes they will never see light of day, but, they come creeping from my yesterdays. A moment back in time to my past hurts, days of rapture, and to days of laughter; Often, I feel a dagger stab my heart, and I am bleeding the moment again. we all have a mix of memories buried... sometimes i wish we could pick and chose what is going to sneak out...great write my friend....i love this... :) hugs

dagger stab your heart... My friend, drop it in the sea of forgetfulness. God will make sure it never comes back to hurt you again. I know. There is one there, that once belonged to me. It is rusted, and nearly without form, as the wave continue to eat it into dust. Hugs. Ann
