G'day Gershon … down this way, if you drink too much you are classed as blind drunk, and you'd almost think when they drive it's a driverless car and the police are usually around to escort - for a night in a cell. Clever limerick Gershon - Lindsay

Funny in so many ways! We have to wonder at the blind man himself. Why is “he” there, is this all in his imagination, and is there more to the drunken poets story. I think I want more. Use him again!

Wow, Kim. I sure was blind to all the possibilities you raised. And here's a deal for you: I give you more of the blind man in exchange for more in-depth comments like this one. Fair? Smiles, Gershon

You're right. I am on a roll: My preferred condiments are mustard, catsup, and pickle. Hold those onions! P.U! LOL. Thanks, Caren. Best wishes, Gershon

I enjoyed this amusing limerick, Gershon. Though I've never written a limerick before, I think I'll try in future. It seems like fun. :=)
