Drivin’ to you, Babe,
I’m drivin’ to you.
Without you, my Sweet,
I just feel so blue.
Drivin’ to you, Babe,
I’m headin’ out west.
There’s nobody better;
for me, you’re the best!
Drivin’ to you, Babe,
‘coz I’m in love deep,
no stops did I make
this whole time to sleep.
Bridge:
The last stretch of highway’s coming up next.
The air’s feeling fresher and I’m feelin’ free.
I picture you, Babe, with your cute funny grin.
Soon that sweet grin you’ll be givin’ to ME.
Your eyes will be shining like sun in blue sky.
Can’t wait to see my sweet honey pie.
Drivin’ to you, Babe,
and I’m drivin’ fast
as mountains and green fields
I go flyin’ past!
Drivin’ to you, Babe,
and Sweetie, I swear
I’m gonna go crazy
if you aren’t there.
Drivin’ to you, Babe,
the coast I now see.
Oh, Babe, don’t be late.
Please be there for me.
