Driven To the Edge

i drove the car close to the edge 
i looked into the abyss 
in truth it did look into me 
what it saw i know not 
what i saw was raw love 
wrestling the dominatrix of pure oblivion 
inexorable gravity took hold of my lapels 
in slow motion i went home
