Drinking Song
So if livin isn't easy and drinkin ain't that hard,
Then break out some gin and whiskey and good ol' deck of cards,
Cause bad luck it ain't nothin but an excuse for life to suck,
So sit down with me buddy and we'll toast to bottoms up
Ride high into our golden years this wagons never bare,
As long as you are buyin them they'll drink without a care,
This may come as a surprise to you but I've played life your way,
But now the games involving shots are the only i will play
I'll tell ya son, in warning, a story of my past,
She acted like she loved me 'till she put me on my ass,
So I drink away her memory each night here at this bar,
Because alcohols the only thing thats never strayed too far
So don't be one to judge me boy this ain't my chosen path,
It can take the life right out of you to feel a womens wrath,
So before you leave this bar tonight please heed this good advice,
The women who surround, although they always seem nice,
Please don't fall in love to quickly boy, think before you leap,
Because once they have you in their grips your sanity they keep...
