Dream Sister Dream
in my dream
i lie upon her chest
i can hear her heart beat
once again
i am close to her
my sister’s jealous of me
but i only wish
that she dreams
the same as me
and sees our mother
in her dreams
i’m sure our mother hears
her heart break —
twain of mother-daughter duo
this soul divide,
we ken not…
we can only wait…
wait for it
in dreams, walking
or bedded under starlight.
dream, sister, dream
in living color
in fullness, in depth,
unashamed
let tears wash away
sediment…
let sentiment remain
