"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; [2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; [3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified." ~~Isaiah 61:1-3 KJVS
There is an ache deep in my core. I don't think I can go on anymore Stops my lungs, my breath it severs Trying in vain to hold it together With weary arms wrapped around my middle Rock myself, like when I was little All days ahead turn black with dread Once filled with life, now reeks of dead Once filled with dreams, sweet plans for two All of my hopes, you killed those too They say i am just heart broken Well not quite, you sliced me open Took my bloody, beating heart in your fist And wrung it out with a nasty twist I can't survive this kind of pain Without my mind breaking, going insane I will have to fight for every breath And stop myself from wishing for death Although unable right now to see One day I'll heal, I'll be happy.
