The form is more or less a sextilla, only the number of feet/syllables aren't exactly right.
I am adding some of my older poems to Soup, now my muse is still asleep.
My little one let's go now
It's time, take your bear
Call the others, there's snow
outside. Make sure you wear
the coat I gave you?
You know where we go to?
Down there is the forest
Hold your bear real close
From there we go west
To the village I chose
Follow that road there
It leads you everywhere
But back to this place
My sweet boy, my dragon
Haunts me, for me it's a race
Only when he is gone
Can I be really free
Can you be with me
My little one, go now
The dragon on my neck
Makes me far too slow,
He holds me back
Whatever you do
Remember I love you
Your bear will protect you
Pretend he is me
Pretend I'm behind you
I'll always be
No dragon can keep me
From you, Don't you see?
You live in my heart little boy,
My brother, my friend
You gave me so much joy
Your laughter did mend
My brokenness to almost whole
You'll live forever in my soul.
