Double Rainbow
This day may be dark and gray,
Unfolding dampness, hour by hour
But as I dodge the muddy puddles
With reflective thoughts of words so sour,
I will replace them with yours
To make the day brighter
While thinking of being in your arms
As I hold you tighter and tighter
You and I can make things shine
Our smiles, like a double rainbow in the sky
As your words merge with mine
We will rise above these dark days and fly
Locked in a kiss of our own forever
Looking down upon the water below
We are everything we make of it
In a timeless fashion, where rivers flow
