Don'T Look Back
"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." - A. Bell
The water looks inviting
the churning just for me
slip off in to the magic
of new found possibility
no held back hesitation
the lilacs are in full bloom
candles brighten up the darkness
listen,
there's singing in the afternoon
yesterday laid down in the thistle
loneliness settled in there too
whispers,
calling to the future
anticipation arriving soon
capture,
eyes never need a reason
to rewind or to close
the water is warm
I'm about to dip my toes
