Don'T Jump In

I should stop dipping my toes into the water, but it's warm today. Nobody could have guessed it. Nothing of a shocking feeling that I'll have to spend a moment to get used to... Nothing of a tiny pinch from a cause that I can't see - The water is warm, The water loves me, The water knows who I am, and it asks me to stay. I would have never known my fortunate fate if I didn't dip my toes in the water today, and so tomorrow, I'll dip again, expecting the same, kind hello, and there I will feel my feet hesitate and jump at the cold, numbing "goodbye".

there are things circling underneath that are itching to say hello, you know the dorsal fins and sharp teeth... hold on to your harpoon...there are friendly wolves, however, with sharper teeth and taller fins...it's a dog eat dog world. If I had to choose between shark and wolves...I'd choose wolves.
