Sometimes people tend to look down on someone or something that may look ragged or dirty simply because they happen to look unattractive. When perhaps something has happened and they just need a helping hand. Or perhaps they judge them as being "Not Up To Our Level" because they LOOK unacceptable at the time. they need someone to gkive them a chance. Clean them up and give them a meal and a place to rest and all of a sudden they look much better. Simply because they were given a hand when they were down. Don't ignore anyone when they ask for help. YOU may mean the difference between life and death to someone or something. Don't put yourself in danger but don't ignore someone or something that needs help.
Don't judge a book by it's cover;
For often you'll find inside,
Something entirely different,
From what you'd expect to abide,
Deep within those pages,
Something you didn't detect;
Though the cover was very appealing,
There was something you didn't expect;
Or perhaps the cover was dusty,
Dirty, drab or old,
But once you pay some attention,
A beautiful story unfolds.
Don't judge a book by it's cover.
Appearances often deceive.
Your first impression is not always right.
Investigate before you believe.
