Does Anyone Care

The world's a mess, it's hard to take a single breath. Smog so thick, air can make you sick. It's not happening to me, why would I care? Kids ducking under desks, bombs dropping in the night. Blood on hands, bullets in the chest. Not mine, I don't care. The world's on fire, ice is melting. It's not near here, I'm safe. A knock on the door, a hand pulls a trigger, I can't breathe, in my final moments, all I can think is, does anyone even care? 03/19/2020

Summer, these feelings are real, but the reality is that we are all in the same circumstance, and most of us do care. Welcome to PSoup.
