Do We Remember To Thank God
Do we remember to thank God every day?
For our feet?
For our seeing eyes?
For our strong back?
For our hearing?
Many of us do after someone else
Gets paralyzed,
Loses their sight
Breaks their back
Can no longer hear
But after a while
it is like seeing a car wreck
Where you drive slowly for a mile or two
Before you go back up to eighty-six miles an hour.
