Do Not Let the Dogs In
Trick or treat! A hoarse voice barked with a loud kind of cough.
All meowing stopped. Is that those dogs? Sure enough!
Don’t let them in. Everyone hide! The old cat yelled out.
But they are trick-or-treating! The kitties argued with a shout.
They will have to go elsewhere! We do not abide dogs here!
The dogs heard this screeching; motive was loud and clear.
It’s a cat house, said the dog leader. Let’s try a new place.
The rest of the dogs readily left, picking up their pace.
