Divine Whisper

Looking back over my life God's hand was always there even in pre birth Jesus spoke a faint whisper faint to hear Despite this events later told how Jesus kept me in His care protecting me from all dangers intervening here and there The word of Christ declares before eternity I chose you to be redeemed as my instrument as my witness faithful and true My earthly days began alone to be adopted stuttering in tongue but Jesus helped me to cope reading Hs life stories even when young These seeds slowly took root as I learned hymns like 'green hill' the Lord has continually taught me listen to me that voice so still AUTHOR NOTES: In the final verse the reference to 'green hill' is the hymn ' There is a green hill far away'.
