*Inspired by the photo I row along the shoreline of the quiet lake Meeting golden hues, with a breathe I take This day will never be repeated This view I see, from where I am seated Slow motion water ripples around me I move toward the colorful sky I see Love in the earth is painted all around With only nature's soft, flowing, sound I slowly head toward the distant shore Knowing right now, I need nothing more Heidi Sands 3/22/18

Very lovely, Heidi. There are times when an image appeals to and captivates our heart, and we just want it to last forever. Regards // paul

Monday I spent some hours with someone I love at "our lake." It's just the way you describe and with myriads of new ducklings. Thanks for the memory!

I had to wait for the picture to load but your words painted the beautiful picture before the picture loaded. Nicely written and I'm in agreement with, for I feel wrapped in peacefulness, when nature's all around, as there's no better soothing than by nature's sound. :)

That is exactly what I was thinking of Frederic. I enjoy doing that. There are many lakes around here too. Thanks for your visit and comment :)
