It's hard to see the light beyond the dark The days so long Lost and confused I wonder what has become of my world So unsure of tomorrow so scared of today Wish yesterday was here to save my day But it ain't that way no more Seemed so simple before so set in my ways Never been forced to adapt To this day A day in the life of us We've been worse We've always been the same Time for a change Time to think beyond us To become one and carry us out of these trouble times Where we all could die No longer wake to the beauty with in our own homes Distance your body but not your love This virus won't win As long as we look past our mistakes.
