I'd love to manage my profile by just writing enjoyable poems but it's not what I'm in it for. Hopefully there's enough poets who don't mind a bit of misery every now and again. I do try to keep my offerings varied - I mean day before this was my nudist ekphrasis :)

In a dark place today Dilly, or just your muse feeling a little claustrophobic, we all have them dark moments, well most of us anyway, you describe them so well in this Tanka, cheers David

Thanks David, luckily the poems are expressions of passing moments for me, so I've not lingered completely in the emotion that took me by surprise when I wrote the one about the Magritte hidden painting. I'm not dwelling (not too much, trying to acknowledge it then move on) and I do know what preceded it to cause the trigger. Thanks for your comment, I know this type of poem is difficult for people to want to engage with but it is nice to know it lands somewhere.
