Did You Really Mean Your Poem

I'm the 1 that resides underneath the Emperor's clothes The 1 who posts these poem's Not the 1 other people see The virtual me in 3D The outside world torments So if i should boast Or play upon my emotional frailty Am i just feeling needy playing up for sympathy and acting Depends on which version of me you ask My Poetrysoup Avatar typing thoughts out on my phone Or the real me sat at home starring back at my sad reflection Wishing i was not the rope a dope but half the man i refer to as myself as said me in my written poetry In reality the truth has 2 side's and hopefully i am neither guy but sit comfortably somewhere in the middle Someone willing to be themselves half of the time but secretly prefers my better half
