Destination, Bed
Destination, Salt Lake City
What a pity!
To much fun,
in the slums
of southern California.
We didn't want to leave
This fornicating reprieve.
Drugs,
gambling,
tons of money, all cash.
A surprising weekend,
pocketing seventeen hundred dollars.
But, a lack of sleep has weakened,
four sleepy hustlin' road scholars.
Destination, Salt Lake City
We're cruisin' I-15,
intersecting I-215
the belt route.
Downtown, Temple
owned by the Mormons,
I'm the man, incredible!
A newly wealthy
poetic foreman.
Home at last!
Still a bit intoxicated,
alcohol is two days fermented,
leaving me sluggish,
foggy conditions in my head.
Now home in Salt Lake City
My next destination,
Bed!!!!!!
Concluding my Destination series.......
