Desideratum

I walked my life on the floral garden path so very long, until an untimely sudden storm came surging strong, flowers that blew away in the wild wind made me rue, my yearning for you plunged deep in the abyss of blue. As the dark clouds drifted beyond the horizon at night, taking away the glimmer of your grace out of my sight. As I was suffused with soulful yearning of stardust hue, the flood of moonbeam would return you to me I knew. At tinted dawn I craved to take you to my morose meadow, you’d see my longing still shine like dew, you’d then know, my love turned to pearls weaving tapestry of emotion anew, to show in our ordained togetherness how much I needed you.
