Demon's Illusion

She seemed so peaceful Perfect with every breath Filling me with feelings Of joy and of caring Little did I know That her hatred would show And life turned dark So quickly and painfully Darkness came in Quickly blinding me Bringing an agony That compares to none She hurt me so Lighting me on fire Burning my soul forever Crushing my heart The illusion of love So quickly vanished Beating through my heart I’m bleeding profusely Giving up my life for her I soon lose grip of reality Not a care left in me I’m lost to life Nowhere to go She’s taken everything Nothing is left Except an empty shell Russell Sivey
