awesome Brian!! all true... such a delicate balance -- we are adrift as you say. It is such a trip what a planet really is - with is complex fields, nature, water, life - all interwoven in such an intricate web of symmetry and connection. your words are sharp and in depth. The tone is wonderful and has flair do teaching... the imagery is solid and vivid, form is perfect for haiku. But I really find the actual literal meaning here of great worth - for those who will look openly to understand

PS: Look forward to corresponding when you get the site figured out. I find your 2 poems so far quite remarkable as well and suspect you and I are both poets of the "What's Next" tribe of poem writing. Ha!

If you like this try please try my poem Haikus of the Mind: With Cliff Notes! It would be fun to get your response. I wrote all of these haiku with the point of view of a poet living on the moon for whom Nature is abundant but seasons are absent. Such fun!
