Interesting. Writing poetry seems to help with agitation. I hope it does cause I want to keep reading. Thanks for writing.

interesting poem DD...the subtle connection between thought and the observable, the baiance before everything seems to tip into chaos. Being near the sea, seagulls abound here and are often the inspiration for thought and imaginative flights. Goid one...

Thanks Paul, it seemed so obviously a visual duplication of internal monologue :)

I’ve seen these kind of spontaneous chain reactions in nature Dilly, how one slight movement can lead to chaos, yes sometimes this can happen with our minds too, and a panic attack can stem from a minute trigger, this is beautifully written and crafted, cheers David

You're very kind, thank you David. I saw the seagulls all calmly lined up with about 3 metres between each when I was driving the other day. Perfect order, as long as no one moved a muscle. It did seem remarkably similar to an unwanted encroaching thought and that mini battle of telling yourself you're not bothered and the thought trying to have a stroll through anyway til the seagull style bickering occurs. Maybe I'll be a seagull protecting a crust (peace of mind) all day anyway :)
