The Apostle Paul said in one of his letters to the Philippians: "NOT THAT I SPEAK IN RESPECT OF WANT FOR I HAVE LEARNED IN WHATSOEVER STATE I AM, THEREIN TO BE CONTENT." Philippians 4:11
He wrote most of his letters of encouragement to others while in prison for speaking the Gospel. I kind of figure if he could learn to be content in prison we can learn to be content in our own situations. The kind of prisons they had back then were dark dungeons and the food wasn't that great either.
There is so much good in you.
You count, you really do.
You're meant to live a joyful life,
Though some dreams won't come true.
Some dreams we have we'll realize,
Though some will not come true;
But happiness is a decision we make,
And a dream is just something for you.
The peace you seek will come to you,
For hope always finds a way.
Reach out and touch another who seeks.
Help them find a bright, new day.
Decide to bloom where you're planted.
Be content whatever may be.
No matter the situation,
For happiness really is free.
It's time to say yes to less stress.
It's time to say good bye to gloom.
Relax and renew your well being.
Turn on lights when you enter a room.
