December's Swan Song
How the days have flown!
We’ve come to the end
of another year
and I reminisce
on good times and bad
I’ll shed a tear
for friends who’ve died
but then recall
fun times we shared
let’s embrace
forthcoming
challenges
and greet
the new
year
