Skeletal trees stark and grey, bent over like old soldiers Casting shadows in the low winter sun Boughs groan with the weight of sparkling snow Naked icy fingers beckon us in chilling wind We trudge through mounds of glistening snow S AND S L L I I P D P I I N G G Falling playfully into the crisp crunchy snow Creating snow angels with white wintery wings Awarded HM in previous contest 10~28~15
