Death

DEATH Just two weeks back I had to endure shocking news of sudden death of my cousin I loved most. More shocking as she was twenty years younger than me running in fifties. Feeling ashamed, still being alive crossing seventy. She herself was unprepared to meet her last moment. Death hit in guise of massive heart attack, neither serving any notice nor allowing any scope to treat. No solace to her family, survived by husband, two daughters and a grandson. Death is inevitable, each to breathe last breath. But it’s not acceptable when it roars as thunder stroke most untimely. Ruthless life presenting hardest TRUTH to carry on. She is just lost leaving no trace. Ultimate fate of life to end in death. 03/03/19 'Dance of Death' Contest by Chantelle Anne Cooke
