Death, Where Are You
We are made of adenine,
But my soul is made of kerosene,
And life is my amphetamine,
Death, where are you
My body is half H20,
But my soul burns in the adagio,
Of a forsaken maestro,
Death, where are you
Though, on the high of cigarettes,
My breathless lungs will bear regrets,
The echoes of my youth’s musette,
Death, where are you
If we’re talking chemically,
Then emotions were my ecstasy,
And death, it is my destiny,
Death, where are you
