Notes About The Poem

I wrote this because I have Faith in all the POETESS' and POETS on the SOUP. I am only a half ass Poet. I have no rhythm or meter in my POETRY. I only know a couple Forms. I am not a good orater or Commentator and that is one reason Why I do not do a lot of comments.Every POEM I do comment on is a 7. Dear Poetrysoup

Dear POETRYSOUP, Hope this finds YOU and YOURS Healthy and High in the Spirit. I am writing this on the Inspiration of Heather Ober's Contest "Love Letter". First off I want to Thank-YOU all for YOUR many Gracious Comments. They are appreciated and Inspirational. Some of YOU know about my strokes and the handicap they cause me, as far as writing any comments back to YOU. I am sorry.A few of YOU know about my stomach cancer,and how the doctors removed half of my stomach and replaced it with whatever they replace stomach lineing with. However that lining ripped and I go for surgery tomorrow. Here is my delima; After the recovery from the surgery they want me to move back to the apartment (they pay for) and leave my Cabin on the mountain for ever. I have a 24/7 nurse,(and my Spirit Nurse; Suzanne Delaney) his name is Nick and he said he would stay with me at the cabin (with a cut in pay). now I do not know why Nick is a Nurse and not a Doctor, he can do everything but surgery. sorry I am rambling.
 YOU are probable saying to Yourselves "What has this got to do with LOVE? By my  cabin I have a house, actually a Shrine : to my DEAREST Most Only Beloved LENORE : my
Wife. I have her POETRY, her Pictures and her Butterfly collection. I had the only thing left from Our Everlasting Day; Her Transparent White Wedding Vail, stolen 4 years ago in a break-in. So my ? to my Beloved Family : POETRYSOUP is :Should I go to the Apartment(across the street from hospital)or spend the next 6 moths to a year at the cabin where my True LOVE abides,with Doctor Nick. Charmaine Chircop May 15, 2013 at 11:57 PM Dear Leige..im so sorry you were passing through the cancer phase and had to do another sutgery yet so grateful you have found the support in your great nurse.I do believe Lenore would travel with you wherever you go as you travel with her through heart and soul to wherever she is.Im sure she needs you to get healthy..You should go to the apartment and once recovered visit the shrine..but believe me wherever you are she will be with you cause your heart is her home.Get well dear friend..bros

Joyce Johnson May 14, 2013 at 8:00 PM Dear Harry, First let me say how sorry that I am that you have had so many troubles but since the doctors have been able to bring you back form the brink, perhaps it would be better to let them make the decision for your welfare. You know I love you very much. I have had you in my prayers for a long time. i do not know the details but you should be close to doctors until you are completely healed. I admire your unbelievable strength to be thinking of your love, even through such a trying time. I think you should do what your heart tells you to do.
