Dear Martin

Come back Martin, come back. If there is any way please come back, quickly. We need your words of Utopia, your powerful metaphors of brotherhood. Freedom is not the object. Everyone is free, too free, free to do as they please even if it means, take a life. People die every day in the streets of the city the schoolyards the workplaces the highways gunned down, just like you. Madmen rule the world playing with it like marbles and badly need wisdom. Come back Martin, come back and bring Mahatma too. 10/17/18

Beautiful, beautiful, so beautiful and as always, your pen writes in the language of kings through a naturally flowing ink.

"Darkness can not drive out darkness, only light can do that - hate can not drive out hate, only love can do that" ... so many people tout and quote the words of this great, peace-loving man, yet turn around and scream for intolerance and confrontation. LOVE is the only answer ... this is wonderful, Janis, about one of my favorite human beings. I must fav. Blessings, and thank you for keeping his memory alive. <3

This made my emotion gasp in feel and concurrence. Right now, I'm thinking of the old song, "Where have all the good men gone, gone to ... " (I'm not positive I got the lyric right.) I KNOW there are many Martins, but Martins tend to be peaceful and quiet, the opposite of violent and chaos. Martin is a man among peace loving men for he walked where his core spirit balked; into dysfunction and ignorance. I love this tribute, this prayer, this bit of you so real and palpable.
