Dear 2022
Let your first dawn start with a smile,
So that joy will sing in the air;
For new year not to be hostile,
So friendly with no hate to share.
Let your days be bright and sunny,
So that the whole world will be warm;
For moments to be like honey,
So sweet and far away from storm.
Let your nights be starry and nice,
So that the dark shadows will dance;
For moon to lure the gazing eyes
That never want to waste the chance.
Let your seasons balance the earth,
So that forest and beast survive;
For humankind to live in mirth,
Braving the clime to stay alive.
Let love be the word of the year,
Let trust be in the heart and mind;
Let not hope for bliss disappear,
Let yesterday be left behind.
