Dead Heads
His head hung from a long thread of thought.
His head led him to chin his chest.
His head-long heart was forever troubled
His head had a heavy hand,
and it beat him up
then beat him down.
Hefty the head that has lost its crown.
Heads may roll
or simply burden a weary neck.
Headstones dig their own death.
The headless tuck the world
under their arms without a single care.
