Through oblivious naivety
with the dexterity of malachite
A siderite gesture
The serenity of silence
in the face of jeopardy
A reflection of the ambiguous as in a mirror
Sage flinched and shot daggers
of moss and slate, edged with precision, pinned
Disconnected from wings and steely intent
Like the sad pillow, the canvas is too elfin.
It lacks the size to conjure the image of the sea.
Charming Chartreuse Promenade
synchronized with a sparse brook
with the tides as they rise and fall
Time is insightfully tamed
with emerald distractions.
