By night, we see the Moon mid sparkling stars that light our planets, Venus, Earth, and Mars. But, there are times the Moon by day is ours. It, on those days, looks shy- against a sun-filled sky surrounded by clouds high- and pale as ghosts, float by. The Moon by day evokes a softer show: a gauzy, pearly shape without a glow; a contrast to its midnight-beaming flow. This double vision boon- a combined Sun and Moon presents at sunrise soon- or even afternoon. Defying logic, this scene sometimes jars our thoughts that this strange sight cannot apply; that Sun and Moon can share the same plateau when Cosmos offers ways they can commune.
