It is usual for most of us to write an obituary in some newspaper to make us remember the dear departed. May they rest in peace.

I look at the obituaries whenever I buy my L.A. TIMES, it's very interesting to come across a dear teacher or anyone dear to me I may have known.

So important. Thanks for sharing and enlightening. The streets of Puerto Vallarta (I suppose all over Mexico!) will be filled with floral monuments and memorials to lost loved ones. Ah, I remember it well.

It sounds like a nice experience, Milt. Quite a site to see, colorful marigold flowers and sequined garments, so lovely! There is a parade every year, Main Street Canoga Park presents the annual Día de los Muertos Festival. Bands, booths, Lowriders, they fix 'em with skeletons, so cute! Aztec dancers it's just amazing!
