Daughter (For Rachel)

In buttercup waves she paddles,
On dove wings her kisses are
Dandelion clock gossamer, sweet lipped
Bee stings timidly tickle.

On emerald lawn she wonders,
Eyes azure, bright reflect,
Memory clouds, teased thoughts,
Cotton candy strands unraveling.

On brushed sand she dwindles,
Camera-lensed, grown focus brings
Delighted large-smiles, like heaven,
Forever heals the day.
