Dangerous Path
The road is covered with thin ice water
Producing a sheen and a reflection
The air I breathe could not have been better
The night is dim for my destination
Only the cool moon shines slyly about
Producing a sheen and a reflection
There is a little bit of fear and doubt
Not knowing the house that’s nearby is warm
Only the cool moon shines slyly about
I don’t know if my path is free from harm
The ice, will it make me fall, slip or slide
Not knowing the house that’s nearby is warm
Aura of the land makes me want to hide
The clouds begin to cover the moon’s eye
The ice, will it make me fall, slip or slide
I walk on by, leaving this land I sigh
The road is covered with thin ice water
The clouds begin to cover the moon’s eye
The air I breathe could not have been better
