Dancing With Description- Contest

Alarm as mind is hurled in icy cage deaf to what between them nurses said, orchestra of terror took the stage and heartbeat had took refuge in my head 'Just keep you're breathing steady, won't be long, you're doing well', consultant's last remark, metallic taste was forming on my tongue, a whistling in my ears heralded dark. wide eyed, frozen, hands on rails tightly cling helpless, supine, outside my comfort zone, nerves tighter than overtuned guitar strings, surrounded, yet never felt so alone.
